We are now looking for a train mechanic for on-demand employment with an established company with long experience in testing, commissioning, warranty, maintenance, and upgrade projects of rail vehicles in Sweden and internationally.

Your responsibilities

As a train mechanic, you will work with maintenance, service, repair, and troubleshooting of trains and other rail vehicles. The tasks vary depending on the assignment and may include among other things:

• Mechanical maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshooting and corrective maintenance
• Replacement and adjustment of components
• Functional checks and test runs
• Documentation according to current routines

We are looking for you who

• Have experience in mechanical work, preferably within the train, vehicle, industrial, or workshop industry.
• Have another main occupation.
• Have a strong technical interest and good problem-solving skills.
• Are meticulous, responsible, and thrive working both independently and in a team.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Have a B-driver's license (meritorious).

Meritorious

• Experience working with trains or other rail vehicles.
• Experience troubleshooting within mechanics, hydraulics, or pneumatics.
• Electrical knowledge or other technical education.

Other

Employment type: On-demand employment.

Working hours: Varying working hours based on business needs. Work occurs during daytime, Monday - Friday.

Location: Malmö.
